Our Cat House

We have a few CATS in the neighborhood. We're getting the ferals fixed, and trying to adopt out the tame kitties and kittens.

2005-10-28 -- Our plan was to fix all the feral cats, grab kittens (and the friendly Buddy and Tippin) for socialization and adoption. After a few months, it's finally over. We've got no extra kittens or cats now. Buddy's been adopted thru OHS (Oregon Humane Society.) Tippen's at a foster family thru OHS. Yooki's been adopted. Socks has been adopted. Lucky and Bean have both been adopted. Gracie and Tina are waiting to be adopted at OHS. OHS has been a bit of an ordeal at times, but they do get animals good homes. Lisa got Cleo at OHS. If we have a cat we're worried they might not place, we get a “call-back...” basically an extra donation for them to call us before they'd put the cat down.

We got a one Feral fixed at a vet, and 6 Ferals fixed by the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon. FCCO is a fantastic organization with wonderful people. The Ferals are back outside.. We do have a few unfixed ferals out there still.. Sly Junior, Tuxedo Mama, and Skinny Mama, that we know about... hopefully they won't breed before we get our hands on them.

PLEASE GET YOUR CATS FIXED!!!
